En 2008, à l’époque grisante où myspace régnait sur la déferlante internet, Charlie Beresford et Christian Vasseur découvrirent leurs musiques respectives. Ayant poursuivi une communication régulière pendant de nombreuses années, ils ont souvent échangé l’admiration que chacun avait pour le travail de l’autre.

En 2018, Charlie a contacté Christian et lui a proposé une collaboration. Christian a organisé une petite tournée dans le nord de la France et un concert en Belgique en janvier 2019. Cette série de concerts a vite montré ce que cela allait devenir : une nouvelle proposition musicale où la poésie (en français et en anglais) et la musique improvisée se côtoient, créant des vignettes temporelles, des courts métrages sans images.

Back in 2008 in the heady days when myspace ruled the binary squall Charlie Beresford and Christian Vasseur found each others music. For many years they communicated every now and again often in admiration of what they were both working on individually.

In 2018 Charlie contacted Christian and asked what he thought about them working together. Christian mobilised and a small tour of Northern France and a show in Belgium was arranged for the January of 2019. That tour very quickly showed that this was meant to be. The project has grown into a whole new musical world where poetry (in French and English) and improvised acoustic music collide, creating the effect of vignettes of time, like short films without pictures.
